Hello Azerbaijan!Local traffic – always with a wave and a smileMy kind of place!My village!Posing on the hummer for some azerbaijan lads on a day trip!One hell of a hill out of the mountain foothills and into the desertFresh lamb at our butchers camp spotAlex cruising into the desertBeautiful sunflower field at the foot of the mountainsthe Flame Towers of Baku – a city of oil money (although the wells are already starting to run dry)Bike club dinner – we are all waiting for visas and/or a boatalternative means of transport but it won`t fly far nailed to that wallold school police carI loved these little guys offering high-5`s all over the city! So did a little kid who ran across the square to karate kick it in the chest!waiting for the boat to Aktau. We spent about 5 hours in this shed and made the crossing in just over 24hrs – which is a bit of a record compared to all the other accounts we have heard – upto 5 1/2 days forothers!Baku docksAll cargoedup includinf a truckload of horses, petrol containers, a random train carriage, 7 bikes and minus 2 pairs of shoes that i saw chucked over board in the night!Sunset on the Caspian sea – which is actually 25m below sea level!A littl surprised to be in Kazakhstan so soon 🙂
