I left my hometown in Cornwall in 2012 on a mission to walk across Europe, from the UK to Istanbul. One year later I had done just that, and amassed a blog full of stories and memories of the people and places she encountered along the way. The captivating city of Istanbul soon became my new home and I set about exploring it from top to bottom, developing my travel writing with blogs and articles for local websites as I went. I now continue to travel throughout Turkey and beyond by bicycle, whilst contributing to various websites, guidebooks and publications.
